CLEANING & DRYING

• Remove jewelry before swimming, showering, or working out to protect the cord and metal parts.

• Wipe beads and metals with a soft, dry cloth after each wear.

• Avoid hand sanitizer — the alcohol damages both cords and beads.

• If the macramé cord gets dirty, wash gently with mild soap and cold water, press with a towel, then lay flat to dry completely.

STORAGE & PROTECTION

• Remove before sleeping — wearing bracelets to bed can stretch or weaken the cord over time.

• Don't pull on the macramé knots — tugging can loosen the weave.

• Keep pieces in a dry box or soft pouch, away from sunlight.

• Store separately from other jewelry to prevent scratching or tangling.

• Avoid spraying perfume, lotion, or hairspray directly onto the cord and beads.

• Clean porous stones, like amber and pearls, with a soft cloth only.

• Never submerge gemstones in water — moisture can cause discoloration.
